Text and email
We are now able to offer a limited text message and email service to our patients. At the moment we are only using it to invite people for swine flu vaccination. This is because of the postal strike - we are finding other ways to get this important message through to you.
If you would like to opt out of this service, please ring reception and let us know. It is also important that you keep us updated with your mobile number and email address - so do let us know about any changes straight away.
If you receive a text message or email from us, please do not reply to it directly, as we do not currently have any way to deal with replies - they will be automatically deleted. If you need to contact us about a text message or email, please ring reception as usual. We will look at ways to improve this in the future.
In the future, we may be able to expand this service. Here are some examples of how we might use it:
- To invite you for screening or vaccination
- To remind you about appointments
- To ask for updated contact details
