Keeping patients informed

We are keen to support and keep our patients well informed and fully involved in their own healthcare. We encourage an attitude to health that acknowledges the importance of nurses and doctors as a resource for patients but emphasise that the ultimate responsibility for every person's health and lifestyle lies with them.

Health information in leaflets or on the internet from credible sources can provide helpful advice. The resources and links to other organisations shown may be useful. None are perfect, so always discuss any information with the practice nurse or doctor.
